CityScape organizes and sponsors several annual events to promote Historic Downtown Cookeville and to raise funds for our operations. They include:

Fall Fun Fest, traditionally held in September, the weekend after Labor Day. For the most current information about  Fall FunFest, click on www.fallfunfest.com The dates for the next festival are September 7 & 8, 2007.

Taste of the Town, scheduled for Friday, May 18, 2007, is CityScape's single largest source of funds for our annual operating budget.

West Side Trick or Treating in Historic Downtown is held on Halloween  and Cookeville families are invited to Trick or Treat with downtown merchants. Did we spot you at last year's event? Check out the photos of our Trick or Treaters.

  • Saturday, April 9, 2005: Children's Discovery Day at Dogwood Park to benefit the effort to start a Cookeville Children's Museum. The event was a huge success thanks to you! Visit www.cookevillechildrensmuseum.com
  • Saturday, May 5, 2007:
    Railroad Rendezvous Springfest on West Broad near the Depot. This event, also free and open to the public, features crafts, food, kids activities, and a music competition to welcome a passenger train from Nashville. For more information, contact the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.

  • Sunday, July 29, 2007: CityScape, with the help of sponsors Mayfield Dairy Farms, will host Cream City Crankin', an ice-cream social held by the historic Cream City factory building and sign.
